The charge pipe, connecting the cold side of the intercooler to the throttle body failed without warning. The failure point was the clamping point to secure the pipe to the throttle body. This vehicle has no powertrain modifications. The failure happened all of a sudden and as a result, my vehicle lost all power. Luckily, there wasn't anyone behind my car when this happened, but this could have easily been a big safety issue had I been merging onto a freeway/taking a left turn. I have not gotten the issue inspected by the dealer. The failure was easily visible. Parts of the charge pipe and broken off and fallen on the undertray. The vehicle has not been inspected by anyone apart from myself. There were no warning signs prior to the failure. Even after the failure, the check engine light took ~2 miles of driving to come on.
