THE MOTORCYCLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15.

THE DEALER CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS INFORMED THAT IT WAS AN UNKNOWN FAILURE AND NOTHING COULD BE DONE TO ASSIST. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 51,000.

I WAS TRAVELING ON MY MOTORCYCLE IN 6TH GEAR WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN MY "CHECK ENGINE" LIGHT CAME ON AND I HAD NO THROTTLE RESPONSE. I HAD TO DO AN EMERGENCY STOP ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS SINCE I WAS IN RUSH HOUR, I WAS VERY LUCKY I WAS ABLE TO GET OVER TO THE SHOULDER SAFELY WITH NO THROTTLE RESPONSE.
