PLASTIC GAS TANK CRACKED ON RIGHT SIDE OF MOTORCYCLE (REPORTED TO BMW MOTORRAD); THIS IS APPARENTLY A COMMONLY REPORTED DEFECT FOR WHICH NO PART OR MATERIAL REDESIGN HAS TAKEN PLACE SINCE 2009 WHEN THE DEFECT FIRST WAS REPORTED BY CONSUMERS. NEARLY 50% OF F650, F700 AND F800 OWNERS REPORT TO HAVE HAD THEIR GAS TANK REPLACED AT LEAST ONCE. REAR MASTER CYLINDER LEAKED DUE TO IMPROPERLY CRIMPED CLAMP. REPEATED ENGINE STALLING CORRECTED BY ECU RE-MAPPING. BOTH FUEL INJECTORS LEAKED, REPAIRED BY REPLACING BOTH FUEL INJECTOR SEALS. MANY TIE WRAPS ON WIRING HARNESSES WITH PROTRUDING SHARP ENDS NOT CUT FLUSH AT FACTORY. *TR
