TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 BMW 750LI. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO VIGOROUSLY SHAKE FROM THE FRONT. THE VEHICLE FAILED TO ACCELERATE OVER 50 MPH AND THE THERMOSTAT INDICATED 250 DEGREES. THE VEHICLE WAS LEFT PARKED FOR EIGHT DAYS AFTER THE FAILURE HOWEVER THE FAILURE RECURRED WHEN OPERATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE TIMING CHAIN AND THE FUEL INJECTORS BOTH FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 59,000. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
