The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic and was informed that the front suspension lower ball joint needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. A dealer was not contacted. Upon investigation, the contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 05V546000 (Suspension) however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 28,000. The consumer stated the mgr. at Bentley-Dallas informed him ,"they had no recalls and nothing we can do for you at this time".
