On Sunday, May 21st, my daughter and I were napping when they woke up to toxic smell, smelt like something electrical burning, we exited the trailer immediately. Waited for the trailer to air out some and searched down the area (the under compartment assessable from the outside of the trailer, under the master bedroom area. We saw smoke coming from a box/plate. It said transfer switch on the metal box plate. We took the plate lid off and saw melted plastic, wires arcing, and missing screws. It also had torque rating and other information regarding what it was. We found 1 screw on the floor of the under compartment. After evaluating this transfer switch, we noticed there were more missing screws then the one we found on the floor. It was obvious that it was not installed properly or finished.
