| 62,910 vehicles affected

Defect: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Alfa Romeo Giulia and Alfa Romeo Stelvio vehicles. The printed circuit board and software for the rearview camera may contain defects that cause the rearview camera image not to display properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Consequence: A rearview image that does not display properly reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the radio, as necessary. In addition, dealers will update the rearview camera software, as necessary. All repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 25, 2025. Owners may contact Chrysler...

The windshield was struck by a rock about the size of a nickle. The laminate of the glass failed to keep the glass together, and glass shards were sprayed throughout the vehicle, reaching all the way to the back seat. The vehicle is available for inspection until April 2nd, 2025. Our safety was put at risk as it could have resulted in cuts to skin or eyes from flying glass shards. Thankfully there was no injuries. The vehicle has not been inspected by a third party at this time.
