TRAVELING APPROXIMATELY 15 MPH IN STOP-AND-GO TRAFFIC ON THE FREEWAY IN LOS ANGELES. WEATHER CONDITIONS WERE DRY. NO ISSUE REGARDING VISIBILITY. FRONT VEHICLE STOPPED. APPLIED BRAKES TO STOP, BUT ANTILOCK BRAKING SYSTEM ACTIVATED CAUSING THE VEHICLE'S BRAKES TO GRIND AND VEHICLE TO GLIDE, RATHER THAN ABRUPTLY STOP, RESULTING IN A REAR-END COLLISION. AIRBAGS DID NOT ACTIVATE. EXTENSIVE DAMAGE SUSTAINED TO THE FRONT END OF THE ACURA, SPECIFICALLY THE GRILL AND HEADLIGHTS CAUSING SIDE-BAR DAMAGE (ESTIMATE INDICATES $5,000+ DAMAGE). MINOR DAMAGE CAUSED TO THE REAR BUMPER OF THE REAR-ENDED VEHICLE (ESTIMATE INDICATES $1200). *TR
