2006 ACURA TL Engine Problems

Car has been in family and well taken care of, smell of fire along with multiple alternators and battery changes. Mechanics cannot figure out why car goes through alternator and batteries. Paid for 6 to 8 alternator and battery. Transmission is now going on car. Like I said car has been taken care of but not worth transmission job, my complaint is I see almost every person who has Acura TL all have transmission problems. I need Acura to answer for all transmission problems through the whole country and why so many alternators and batteries?

I was told by a mechanic that this 2006 Acura TL I bought from Joe's Garage here In Clovis Ca was a car I do not want to be driving. Now when purchased from Joe's Garage he stated he put engine didn't say new or used, He also said the car was practically brand new because previous owner was a high school kid who assume he cracked his radiator and was not the problem, but the kid bought a new car and left Acura there since. Since the purchased I had nothing, but engine problems told Joe never responded I did my own research come to find out Joe's business licensed was suspended and that where he got my car Acura to pass smog of course was a smog business already being investigated for passing car illegally. POWER STEERING HOSE OIL LEAKING, ACCELERATOR PEDAL MAY BIND, DRIVER FRONTAL AIR BAG INFLATOR MAY EXPLODE, 2001-11 MULTI-MODEL AIRBAG INFLATOR RECALLS , PRESSURE MONITORING AND REGULATING SYSTEMS. TRANSMISSION OIL IS LEAKING ALL THE OIL IN 4 DAYS

BAD TRANSMISSION! CAR DIDN'T MOVE. *TR

MY TRANSMISSION RAN OUT IN FREEWAY AND IT ALMOST KILLED ME I NEED A RECALL

THIS MODEL AND YEAR HAS NUMEROUS OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE FRONT DASHBOARD CRACKING AT AN EARLY STAGE. ALSO THE VALVE COVER GASKETS LEAKS PREMATURELY. AND FINALLY THE TRANSMISSION BEGAN SLIPPING OUT OF GEAR WHICH I HAD TO HAVE IT REBUILT. PLEASE ADDRESS THESE ISSUES.

ENGINE MOUNTS ARE BROKEN. I HAVE OWN MORE THAN 10 CARS AND I HAVE NEVER HAD THE ENGINE MOUNTS FAIL. THE CAR HAS 75000 MILES. ACURA SHOULD REPLACE THE ENGINE MOUNTS. IT APPEARS THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. *TR

THE OTHER DAY I PICKED UP MY TWINS FROM DAYCARE AT RUSH HOUR AFTER WORK, PROCEEDED TO GET ON THE HIGHWAY WHERE SUDDENLY MY TSA & ENGINE LIGHTS COME ON, MY CAR GOES LIMP AND WE WERE IN A VERY NEAR-MISS ACCIDENT SITUATION. I TRY TO KEEP MY CALM AS MY CHILDREN ARE KEENLY AWARE THAT SOMETHING IS WRONG. I LOOK AT THE DASH, I LOOK AT THE CARS COMING FROM THE BACK AND SIDE, AND I SLOWLY CREEP ALONG AND IMMEDIATELY PUT MY HAZARDS ON. NOW I HAVE TO GET MYSELF FROM THE LEFT LANE AND MANEUVER IN TO THE RIGHT WITH PEOPLE COMING UP THAT CAN'T YET SEE MY DISTRESS SIGNAL. THE BLUETOOTH AUDIO UNIT ON MY 2006 ACURA TL HAS SHORT CIRCUITED AND IS DRAINING MY BATTERY CAUSING THE IGNITION SYSTEM ISSUES WHEN STARTING THE CAR IN THE MORNING. THE SHORT CIRCUIT HAD OCCURRED DUE TO THE AUDIO UNIT BEING PLACED ABOVE THE REARVIEW MIRROR CONSOLE, THIS LOCATION IS EXPOSED TO SUNLIGHT WHICH IN TURN CAUSES THE COMPONENTS TO HEAT UP AND DAMAGE THE AUDIO UNIT. *TR
