The start/stop switch stalls the vehicle and will not restart after several tries for up to 5 minutes. We get a message during this time to "continue to drive, depress brake pedal and push switch" and even after then it still will not start for several tries. This has happened several times. One time my wife was on a heavily traveled two lane farm road at a four-way stop and it did it and was almost hit by 18 wheelers trying to navigate around her. This was not only a safety issue for her but also those trying to get around her with all the traffic coming in all direction. Took back to the dealer but it did not do it while they tried to recreate the issue. No warnings prior to the issue of dying and not re-starting. This was the latest occurrence, it had happened a couple of...

Vehicle will suddenly shut the engine off and shift into park, even when the auto engine shut off is not active. Typically happens when stopped at a stop light. You will feel the engine shut off, and the car shift into park. It is very scary and unsafe. It has also caused the vehicle to shut off and shift into neutral while it was moving, and the vehicle gave a transmission warning. It sounds very similar to NHTSA Recall 25v-031, however, my vehicle was not included in the recall as it is not a Type S. I took it to the dealership and they said that Acura has opened an investigation due to the number of complaints, but there is no solution yet. I have not other option but to dry the vehicle, but I am worried that it is unsafe and not good for the vehicle to keep stalling...

The contact owns a 2024 Acura MDX. The contact stated the messages "Parking Sensor Failure - See Dealer", "Brake Performance Failure" and "Brakes May Be Reduced - See Dealer" were displayed. Additionally, the Forward Collision Avoidance sensor would alert the contact of a potential collision erroneously. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the computer systems were reset, and the front bumper sensor was replaced. The contact stated that after the repair, the auto brake hold feature failed to engage upon coming to a stop and releasing the brake pedal, causing the vehicle to roll. The vehicle was taken to a second dealer, Kearny Mesa Acura (5202 Kearny Mesa Rd, San Diego, CA 92111); to be diagnosed, but the cause of the failure could not be determined. The contact also noticed that the wheels were out of alignment. Additionally, the contact stated while driving at various speeds, the vehicle...

I have attached all my service records from Honda/Acura and the dealership Motorworld which is located in Wilkes Barre, PA I had my first issue with the car in January 2024 with sensors malfunctioning. They we replaced a few times, repeated issue I had other issues that didn't replicate themself or show as an error code when I brought the car in. Issue accelerating or inability to accelerate on the highway in a middle lane w/ a tractor trailer on each side. One trying to merge into my lane. Noisy brakes, low breaks etc Fast forward to March 2025, my number one complaint about these sensor issues is they would malfunction on me one day when I was driving. And I was always assured by the dealership it was good, the car was good, I was good. Acura felt the same. Well in April my steering malfunctioned while driving, the...

I was lightly stepped on the gas coming off a complete stop with no cars in front of me. The automatic breaking came on hard and a sensor flashed to BRAKE as if I was going to hit someone but there was nobody in front of me. The sensor alert system was turned off 15min prior as I had gone through a car wash. This is the first time this has happened but unknown why. Had there been a car behind me, I may have been hit.

The contact owns a 2024 Acura MDX. The contact stated that when the vehicle was cold started, the rearview camera delayed in showing an image after the transmission was shifted into reverse(R). Additionally, the contact stated while driving approximately 40 MPH, the instrument cluster indicated that the Navigational System and Driving Modes were not engaged. The contact stated that the 360-degree camera and the Suspension Mode control were inoperable. The contact had taken the vehicle to a dealer who diagnosed that several electrical wiring harnesses needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated that the failures reoccurred, and that there was a warning with a yellow dot indicating that the "Bin/WiFi/NavSys” was inoperable. The contact took the vehicle back to the same dealer and the contact was informed that the wiring harness needed to be ordered. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of...
