TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN: TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT & HCU LOGIC IMPROVEMENT - This bulletin provides information to replace the transaxle assembly and upgrade the Hybrid Control Unit Low-Voltage DC Converter (HCULDC) software on some 2022-2024MY Sorento Plug-In Hybrid (MQ4 PHEV) vehicles equipped with a 1.6L T-GDI engine and All-Wheel Drive (AWD), produced from June 29, 2021 through January 10, 2024. Some vehicles may experience an illuminated Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) with DTC P0C4E00 stored, accompanied by a rough transition when the vehicle switches between EV and HEV motive power.
