TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN: VCU SOFTWARE LOGIC UPGRADE (SA541) - This bulletin has been revised to include additional information. New/revised sections of this bulletin are indicated by a black bar in the margin area. This bulletin provides information to upgrade the software logic of the Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) on certain 2023-2024MY EV6 GT (CV GT) vehicles produced from August 25, 2022 through July 20, 2023, to optimize the brake lamp 'ON/OFF' logic to prevent momentary activation and deactivation of the brake lights when regenerative braking is in use while driving over uneven road surfaces (e.g. railroad crossings, raised pavement markers). This condition does not affect brake light activation when the brake pedal is depressed.
