Bulletin Summary
This article supersedes TSB 22-2263 to update the Title, Issue, Action, Service Procedure, and Part List. Some 2019-2021 Transit vehicles built on or before 11-Feb-2021 may experience a front seat cushion sagging. The vehicle may also exhibit an illuminated air bag warning indicator with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) B1408, B1405, B1407, B0001 and/or B0010 stored in the restraints control module (RCM). To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to replace the suspension mat assembly and install additional webbing strap assemblies to the seat frame.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
