Bulletin Summary
This Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) contains instructions to check, clean, Loctite, and re-torque the radius rod bolt. The radius rods absorb impact to keep load off of the main control arm bushing. Performing this TSB should improve the suspension and overall ride quality of the Vanderhall. If the bolt connecting a radius rod to the chassis becomes loose, this may cause (a) excessive vibration from an impact and (b) clunky noises from the front suspension upon impact, which may negatively affect the suspension and ride quality over time.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
