Bulletin Summary
Some 2016-2017 F-650/F-750 vehicles equipped with a 6.7L diesel engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P246C and/or P2463. Performing a diesel particulate filter (DPF) manual regeneration using the appropriate Ford scan tool will fail resulting in a loss of communication error. Follow the Service Procedure steps to correct the condition.
