PORSCHE: RE-PROGRAMMING AIRBAG CONTROL UNIT (WORKSHOP CAMPAIGN). A VOLUNTARY WORKSHOP CAMPAIGN ON CERTAIN MODEL YEAR VEHICLES CONCERNING THE POSSIBILITY THAT WITH THE PARAMETER SET STORED IN THE AIRBAG CONTROL UNIT, THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT CAN BE ACTIVATED UNNECESSARILY IN THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER ON THE AFFECTED VEHICLES. THIS WILL NOT IMPAIR THE FUNCTION OF THE AIR BAG. TO REMEDY THE SITUATION, PROGRAM A NEW PARAMETER SET ON THE AIRBAG CONTROL UNIT. MODELS CAYENNE, CAYENNE S, CAYENNE TURBO, CAYENNE GTS, CAYENNE TRANSSYBERIA FROM MODEL YEARS 2008-2010. *PE
