Bulletin Summary

Polaris has introduced new software and map updates for the Ride Command Display. Dealers should encourage Slingshot owners using Ride Command to bring their units in to receive the software update. At this time, dealers should also verify the map version and update as necessary. The software update takes approximately 5 minutes to complete, while updating the map file may take up to 2 hours depending on PC configuration and internet speed. Ensure the staff is aware of and has practiced both update processes, so they can provide a positive customer experience.

About Technical Service Bulletins

A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
