Bulletin Summary
Some 2021-2024 Mustang Mach-E vehicles may exhibit a condition where the interior propulsion sound feature does not remain active and deactivates immediately. This may be due to the audio control module (ACM) configuration. To restore the functionality of this feature, download and run the "ACM - Enable Engine Sound Enhancement and Active Noise Control" application in the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) scan tool. In cases where the ACM is replaced, this routine will run during the "ACM - Programmable Module Installation (PMI)" application. Make sure to follow the FDRS on-screen instructions carefully. For claiming, use causal part 18C869 and labor operation numbers 12651D and 12651D4.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
