Technical Service Bulletin SSM 53896 — 2023 FORD F-450 SD

Some 2023-2025 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with cylinder injection pulse offset diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) P2B11, P2B13, P2B15, P2B17, P2B19, P2B1B, P2B1D, and/or P2B1F stored in the powertrain control module (PCM) when operating at elevations greater than 2500 feet (762 meters). If symptoms are present, perform the "Reset Minimum Fuel Mass Adaption - All Cylinders" using the "Reset/Clear Specified Function" application with Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) and retest. If the concern remains, refer to the Workshop Manual, Section 303-04 for additional diagnostics. If the symptoms are no longer present, no additional diagnosis or service is recommended for this condition at this time. Inform customers engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected in Q3 2025. Monitor PTS for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available. If this condition is encountered, use the "Submit Global Concern Report (GCR)"
