Some 2020-2022 F-Super Duty vehicles may exhibit a condition where the vehicle will not shift out of park (P). Diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) C0040 and/or P0504 may also be present. Reference TSB 22-2044 to make sure that no water or corrosion is present in the battery junction box (BJB). If Pinpoint Test A: Brake Shift Interlock in Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 307-05 leads to a concern with circuit SBP07 (white/red), remove the left side scuff plate from the floor and inspect circuit SBP07 for any damage. If damage is present, repair as necessary. Refer to Wiring Diagram, Cell 005. Submit a Report a Vehicle Concern form at the bottom of the OASIS screen and attach any available pictures to assist with the engineering investigation.
