Bulletin Summary
Some 2022 F-Super Duty vehicles built on 03-Jun-2022 and through 26-Jun-2022, and equipped with an electronic steering actuator may exhibit increased low-speed steering efforts, various trailer back up assist (TBA) warning messages, inoperative TBA, and/or inoperative lane keeping alert steering wheel vibration. This may be due to the software in the power steering control module (PSCM). To correct the condition, run the PSCM - Reset the Power Steering Control Module (PSCM) application using the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). For claiming, use causal part 3G568 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
