Bulletin Summary
Some 2017-2019 F-Super Duty/F-650/F-750 vehicles may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P24D1 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM). To correct the condition, replace the particulate matter sensor. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 303-14. For F-650/F-750 vehicles, use LC4Z-5L216-A. For F-Super Duty pickup and 203" wheelbase chassis cab vehicles, use LC3Z-5L216-C. For F-Super Duty 145/179/192" wheelbase chassis cab vehicles, use LC3Z-5L216-B. For F-Super Duty 168/169/193/205" wheelbase chassis cab vehicles, use LC3Z-5L216-A. For claiming, use causal part 5L239 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
