Bulletin Summary
Some 2016 C-MAX and Focus Electric vehicles built on or after 11-May-2016 may exhibit a false activation of the alarm system. Reprogram the body control module (BCM) to the latest level using Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS) release 110.03 or higher. To correct the concern Make sure you are connected to the internet when entering module programming to obtain the latest updates. Use the applicable labor operation in section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards manual and causal part 14A068 when claiming repair.
