Bulletin Summary

SERVICE BULLETIN - HONDA IS LAUNCHING A SAFETY RECALL OF 2010- 2016 MODEL YEAR VT750C/CA/CS, VT750C2/C2F/C2S, AND VT750C2B MOTORCYCLES FOR A POTENTIALLY DEFECTIVE BANK ANGLE SENSOR. HONDA HAS DETERMINED THAT ENGINE VIBRATION MAY CAUSE THE BANK ANGLE SENSOR'S WIRING TO RUB ON A WIRE HARNESS CONNECTOR. CONTINUOUS VIBRATION BETWEEN THE BANK ANGLE SENSOR WIRING AND THE WIRE HARNESS CONNECTOR MAY CREATE AN OPEN IN THE BANK ANGLE SENSOR ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT. IF AN OPEN IN THE BANK ANGLE SENSOR ELECTRICAL CIRCUIT DEVELOPS, THE ENGINE MAY STALL WHILE RIDING.

About Technical Service Bulletins

A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
