Expiration Notification - Hood Locking Components Collection Activity Field Quality Parts Collection Initiative ***** Collection Initiative Summary ***** Nissan launched a special parts collection activity on July 8, 2022 to collect and examine one-hundred (100) hood locks on specific 2017 Nissan Pathfinder vehicles registered in the following states: Florida, Illinois, and New York. NOTE: Customers were informed that this parts collection activity was time limited. Nissan communicated that this activity would expire on December 31, 2022. Nissan has collected a sufficient number of parts for this parts collection activity. Nissan wants to inform dealers that R22A4 will conclude on June 13, 2023. Dealers should not schedule any appointments beyond June 13, 2023 for this state specific collection activity. ***** What Dealers Should Do**** 1. Service Comm will deactivate R22A4 on any remaining VINs on June 13, 2023. Dealers should complete previously scheduled appointments at this time and not continue to complete or schedule additional vehicles beyond June 13, 2023. 2. Dealers should submit any open claims for this collection activity by June 13, 2023. 3. Dealers may continue to use NTB22-056 to service any previously scheduled vehicles subject to this collection activity until June 13, 2023.
