Altec has developed an optional latch guard for certain AT37/41/48-M/ME/P/PE/S/SE, including JEMS, aerial devices built from October 2018 to May 2024 with a custom option for automatic lower boom rest. This guard provides additional clearance between the moving portion of the automatic boom latch and the operator.
