The purpose of this Product Upgrade Dealer Notification Letter is to inform REV dealers of the process to inspect for the presence of an air inlet screen and to remove the rubber portion of a drain valve (?duck bill?) on certain model year 2016-2017 American Coach products. On the affected motorhomes, the engine?s air intake plenum (?duck bill?) drain valve may become clogged with debris. If the engine is started prior to removal of the ?duck bill?, water may enter the engine and cause extensive engine damage, and may render the engine inoperable.
