This Preliminary information communicates that a vehicle may be encountered with a collision alert indicator that is on when it should not be. The technician is instructed to Inspect the area between the cowl and the dash carrier for the harness to the collision alert indicator being pinched. If the condition is found the tech is directed to repair the damaged circuits.
