Bulletin Summary
This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that when in reverse the rear camera display is too bright at night. Dealer should cover and uncover the while at a stop and in reverse to determine if the display stays bright when covered. Dealer will need to check for any related Diagnostic Trouble Codes. Dealer should not replace any parts for this concern. Dealer should communicate to the customer that we apologize for this inconvenience and that General Motors is working on a solution for this concern.
