Bulletin Summary
This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician how to repair vehicles that have a red LED and a current Diagnostic Trouble Code B1447-04 after the Canada upgrade. Technician will verify that there is harness for the OnStar Back up Battery on the vehicle. Install a new Back up Battery in the vehicle if the harness is present. If there is no harness for the Back up Battery, contact General Motors Technical Assistance and select the OnStar prompt for further assistance.
