Bulletin Summary

This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that the OnStar LED is staying on after the vehicle Retained Accessory Power has turned off and/or their Bluetooth phone stays connected after leaving the vehicle. Technician will need to perform a power cycle to the Vehicle Communication Interface Module. If the concern is gone, no further action is required. If the concern is still present after the power cycle technician will need to contact General Motors Technical Assistance Center for further assistance.
