Bulletin Summary
This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician how to diagnose and repair vehicle that may have a rattle, itch or tapping noise coming from the center of the instrument panel area while driving. The cause may be an engine wiring harness making contact with a dowel pin on the forward bulkhead. Technician will remove the engine cover and locate the engine harness. Inspect for a holding clip that secures the engine harness to the fuel line bracket. Technician will install a holding clip to remove the slack in the harness.
