This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about customers may inquire about the availability of the passenger compartment air filter. Dealer should advise the customer starting in 2003 the passenger compartment air filter is no longer available as a factory option. For vehicles that are 2007 and later a cabin air filter may be able to be added. Refer to the latest version of PI1216.
