This Preliminary information communicates to the dealer an issue where the vehicle may exhibit a Service Engine soon light, inoperative tachometer, crank no start or extended crank condition. Dealers are directed to inspect the crankshaft reluctor for damage from foreign material in the oil pan. Dealers are to investigate and correct source of foreign materials.
