Bulletin Summary
This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that have a Service Engine Soon Malfunction Indicator Lamp on. Technician will find Diagnostic Trouble Code P0341 and or P0366 set. If the technician has duplicated the concern replace the related Camshaft Position sensor and retest for the code. If the Diagnostic Trouble Code returns technician should check the history to see if the vehicle was in a collision. If the vehicle has been in a collision technician should call General Motors Technical Assistance Center.
