Bulletin Summary
This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that may have Malfunction Indicator Lamp on. Technician my find Diagnostic Trouble Code P1B0F and or Diagnostic Trouble Code P1B10 set in the Hybrid Powertrain Control Module. Dealer should explain to the customer that inadvertently shutting the vehicle off while in motion (out of park) may cause this Malfunction Indicator Lamp to illuminate, and this is design intent.
