Bulletin Summary
This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician if wiring repairs to or replacement of the Body Control Module or Brake Pedal Position sensor were made. Technician will find that the scan tool will display ?Device Control Not Allowed? when attempting to perform Brake Pedal Position Relearn/Calibration procedure. Technician will need to reprogram the Powertrain Control Module first in order to properly perform the Brake Pedal Position Relearn/Calibration.
