Bulletin Summary
This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician on the steps to diagnose and repair vehicles poor or no operation of the navigation radio voice or speech recognition system when using the ?push to talk? button on the steering wheel controls. If the technician has completed all of the published Service Information diagnosis and is unable to isolate the cause contact General Motors Technical Assistance Center. Technician will install a pre-assembled pigtail with a 220 ohm resistor in series to repair the concern.
