Bulletin Summary
KIB push-button compartment door lock modules on 2018 King Aire coaches may have a software glitch that may cause some modules to fail to automatically acquire their network ID when installed. When operating a compartment door push button, this scenario could potentially cause two different doors to open instead of just one. The ID issue should have only occurred when the module was installed for the first time during production. Coaches configured correctly during production (and operational when shipped) will continue to operate correctly and do not need updated. Coaches built after production unit #530451 have had the software update completed and should not have any ID configuration issues during the installation process.
