CRD 150/151 CARRIER INSPECTION COVER, REPLACEMENT, A MANUFACTURING DEFECT HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED AFFECTING CARRIERS BUILT FROM DECEMBER 2012 THROUGH JANUARY 2013. THE ISSUE IS MOLDING FLASH THAT MAY BE EXTENDING INTO THE O-RING GROOVE AT THE 12 AND 6 O'CLOCK POSITIONS OF THE COMPOSITE SIDE COVER. THIS FLASH MAY CUT INTO THE O-RING AND CAUSE IT TO DISTORT AND RESULTING IN OIL LEAKAGE. IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE COVER BE REPLACED TO CORRECT THIS CONDITION.
