Bulletin Summary
Power Delivery Module (PDM) Cover Seal *****Dealer Announcement***** Nissan is committed to a high level of customer service and satisfaction. This commitment requires Nissan to periodically place certain vehicles on temporary Quality Assurance (QA) Hold to ensure that these vehicles, as delivered to our customers, meet our exacting standards and our customersâ expectations. Effective immediately, Nissan is placing a temporary Quality Assurance Hold on certain specific 2024 Nissan LEAF vehicles. On affected vehicles, the PDM may be susceptible to water intrusion. Affected vehicles are subject to stop sale and are either currently in dealer inventory or assigned and in transit to the dealer. *****What Dealers Should Do***** 1. Please do not retail the specific vehicles in dealer inventory subject to this quality hold. In order for Nissan customers to have the best experience, please discontinue test drives in the affected vehicles. 2. Nissan is currently investigating a potential customer satisfaction concern regarding the PDM Cover Seal possibly susceptible to water intrusion. Additional information on next steps will be provided as soon as possible.
About Technical Service Bulletins
A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a document issued by a vehicle manufacturer to its dealers, describing a known issue with a specific vehicle or set of vehicles and the recommended procedure to fix it. Unlike recalls, TSBs are not mandatory and are typically only performed if an owner reports the related issue. However, TSBs can be an indicator of common problems with a vehicle.
