GENUINE MOTOR PARTS AND MOTOR ACCESSORIES BULLETIN PAB1149: DIGITAL TECHNICIAN II UPDATE FOR VEHICLE HOLD CONTROL (VHC) UPGRADE KITS. PURPOSE: To inform dealers that the Vehicle Hold Control (VHC) Upgrade Kit (Part No. 69203477) both sold separately and found in the 2024 Long Haul Packages requires a Digital Technician II (DT II) update to enable the additional functionality from the kit, that is not yet released. The DT II update (version 24.5.0) will be available to dealers by the end of March 2024. For any kits that were ordered before February 9th, 2024, instruct the customers to return after the update is received. The following part numbers will be put on an ordering hold until issue is resolved: 69203477-VHC Upgrade Kit, 50700116-Long Haul Package (Chrome), 50700117- Long Haul Package (Black). NOTE: This only pertains to vehicle's equipped with Rider Safety Enhancements / Cornering Rider Safety Enhancements formerly known as Reflex⢠Defensive Rider Systems (RDRS).
