Followup Notice - Our records indicate that a PRODUCT UPDATE has not been completed on this vehicle; refer to the address card for the affected VIN. The air bypass valve (ABV) harness in your 2017 Civic Type-R may fray or become disconnected. If the ABV harness frays or disconnects, the MIL comes on with the message Rev Match System Problem. While you can still drive the vehicle under this condition, this would cause the vehicle to be noncompliant with applicable emission regulations. Honda strongly recommends having your vehicle inspected at your local Honda dealership and repaired as soon as possible. This will be done for FREE.
