Bulletin Summary
This is to notify you of the Service Campaign Launch to update the SCN coding in the EIS on-board electrical system in 6,055 Model Year (“MY”) 2022-2023 SL (232 platform) vehicles. The vehicles will be visible and flagged in VMI as “OPEN” on May 3, 2024.Mercedes-Benz AG, the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain MY 2022-2023 SL (232 platform) vehicles, premature or unwanted smartkey recognition could slowly discharge the 12V battery. MBUSA will conduct a service campaign. An authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer will update the SCN coding in the EIS on-board electrical system.
