Service Update - Certain vehicles may have a condition in which a diagnostic trouble code (DTC), U3620-U362E or U3630-U3636, symptom 17, is triggered. This DTC is resulting in customers experiencing a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illuminated in the Driver Information Center (DIC), Reduced Propulsion with corresponding DIC message, and a charging limited to 30% State of Charge. IMPORTANT: If the vehicle comes in with the DTC U3620-U362E or U3630-U3636, symptom 17 set, go to SI and follow the published SI diagnostic/repair procedures. After above repairs are performed, come back to this field action to get the required warranty claim code and close this field action with labor operation 9107166. If the DTC is not set, proceed with this bulletin. Dealers are to reprogram the Hybrid Powertrain Control Module 2.
