Bulletin Summary
BMW Motorrad has ascertained that in some cases gearbox shift lever (2) can work loose from gearshift shaft (3). As the distance covered by the motorcycle increases in the course of usage (frequency of gearshifts) the play between gearshift shaft and gearbox shift lever can increase to the extent that the gearbox shift lever works loose.
