SERVICE BULLETIN M1698: BILL OF MATERIALS CHANGE FOR CENTER-COOLED WARRANTY REPLACEMENT ENGINES. PURPOSE: Initial release. This bulletin informs dealers that starting on August 1, 2025, the Milwaukee-Eight Center-Cooled Direct Ship Warranty engines will not come with the decorative camshaft cover or Variable Valve Timing (VVT) solenoid. This involves all: • Non-VVT equipped Touring and Softail models • VVT solenoid equipped CVO models. NOTE: On VVT models, the solenoid opening will be plugged to prevent contamination.
