Bulletin Summary
SERVICE BULLETIN M1659: PAN AMERICA FUEL TANK UPDATE. PURPOSE: This bulletin informs dealers that the 2024 Pan America vehicles have been updated to have the inside of the fuel tank e-coated. To accommodate this process, a threaded plug (Part No. 10500167) was added to the left rear of the fuel tank. When ordering replacement fuel tanks for 2021-2023 vehicles, they will come with the e-coat process. Dealers will need to order and install the threaded plug (Part No. 10500167) separately. Electronic Parts Catalogs are updated to reflect this information. NOTE: When ordering replacement fuel tanks for 2021-2023 Pan America vehicles, they will come non e-coated. Once old stock is depleted, all replacement tanks will come e-coated and dealers will need to order (Part No. 10500167) separately. Upgrading to new fuel tank is not warrantable.
