SERVICE BULLETIN M1589 MILWAUKEE-EIGHT GASKET COLOR DIFFERENCES. Purpose: This bulletin informs dealers that starting on April 26, 2023 with Engine Identification Number (EIN) 1792099421, the Milwaukee-Eight powertrain was being built with neutral colored gaskets. For an unknown period of time, the neutral colored gasket is being used until the supply of black gaskets are reintroduced into production. The visible gaskets are under the lifter covers. Replacing the gaskets for cosmetic reasons is not warrantable.
