SERVICE BULLETIN M1546: REVOLUTION MAX JIFFY STAND HARDWARE TORQUE CHANGE. PURPOSE: This bulletin informs dealers that a change has been made to the hardware installation procedure for screws securing the jiffy stand on vehicles powered by the Revolution® Max engine. See Figure 1 through Figure 4. When installing all jiffy stand screws, use LOCTITE 243 MEDIUM STRENGTH THREADLOCKER AND SEALANT (BLUE) (99642-97) and tighten to updated torque specification: 20â22 ft-lbs (27â30 N·m). Update all printed service manuals for Revolution® Max products to include the use of threadlocker and updated torque. See https://serviceinfo.harley-davidson.com
